Four steps, and you never post us an original.
1. Pick what you need
One photograph, five, or twenty. If you want a framed print at the end, choose The Framed Heirloom instead and we handle the printing too.
2. Send us the image
After you order, you get an email with where to send it. A scan is ideal. A photo taken on your phone works fine as long as it is in daylight, flat, and square on to the photograph rather than at an angle. Glass reflections and shadows across the face are the two things that cause problems, and we will tell you if we need a better one.
Your original never leaves your house. That matters, because the thing you are trying to protect is the only one that exists.
3. We restore it
Tears and missing corners get rebuilt. Water damage, mould spotting and foxing get removed. Fading and colour casts get pulled back to true. Faces get sharpened where age has softened them.
Where damage has destroyed part of a face, we reconstruct it, and we tell you which parts we reconstructed. You should always know what is recovered and what is inferred.
4. You approve it
We send a preview. If something is not right, say so, and we do it again. There is no limit on revisions and no charge for them. Nothing gets printed or finalised until you are happy.
What you end up with
A high-resolution JPEG for sharing and a print-ready TIFF for printing. No watermarks, no compression, no restrictions. Print it as many times as you like, anywhere you like. It is your photograph.
